Fade Friday – Oldblue Co. Plain Selvedge Indonesia (7 Months, 1 Wash)

We’ve been spoiled by some truly impressive fade submissions lately, but this pair of Oldblue Co. Plain Selvedge Indonesia jeans one takes the cake as this week’s Fade Friday. We quickly learned from the photos that Dhion Brahmansyah from Jakarta, Indonesia knows how to wear a pair of jeans. From getting down and dirty doing student field work in the mine pits to riding his Vespa through all different weather conditions, he has achieved some gnarly denim evolution at a mere seven months of wear.

One reason why we love these jeans is the contrast, plain and simple. You have a wide range of blue tones from the dark folds behind the knees to the bright white knees and seat that makes this pair of Oldblue’s look like a real pair of old blues. These fades are so pronounced that you even see the unique fold patterns on the inner and back of the thighs, giving these jeans more character than can be captured with words.

For more on his denim ventures, you can keep up with Dhion on Instagram.
