Fade of the Day – Big John Rare Jacket (14 Months, 2 Washes, 5 Soaks)

We have previously covered the importance of one of the O.G. denim makers Big John, but this is the first time we’ve seen one of their jackets in our submission inbox. Reader Olle from Sweden has worn this Rare Jacket for the greater part of the last 14 months, and has sold us on the quality of construction and fade potential alone.

Olle tells us he wears his Big John jacket about four to five times a week for all sorts of normal life activities, from going to concerts to taking vacations. When it gets cold, he layers it under his favorite bomber jacket, which he thinks helps the fading move along even quicker, and we wouldn’t argue. The whole jacket has lightened up a few shades, especially near the pockets and elbows, which are beginning to show some noteworthy honeycombs. Keep rocking it, Olle, and send us more photos soon!
