Today’s Fade is another piece of handmade leather goods that has aged beautifully. This wallet from Idaho-based brand Craft and Lore has seen just over a year of use by reader Pablo Estavillo of Mexico, and has some real character to show for it.
Pablo applied some leather conditioner to his wallet and left it to absorb the Mexican sunshine for a few hours before he started using it. As you can see, this treatment has helped the wallet to become soft and supple and pick up some serious patina on its journeys. Every different part of the wallet has matured differently, with two of the pockets showing some remnants of its original color. It’s always nice to see some made-in-USA veg tan goodness – Gracias Pablo!
