Fade of the Day – LVC 1954 501zxx (9 Months, 12 Washes, 2 Soaks)

Nothing beats starting off the day with a cup of coffee and some faded Levi’s, and that’s exactly what’s in store for today’s Fade of the Day. This pair of Levi’s Vintage Clothing 1954 501Z‘s has been rocked by Daniel F. of Denmark for a mere nine months, but already show a promising future in the wake of their indigo ancestors.

Daniel didn’t get too specific about what it is exactly that he does in his jeans, but he did say that he has worn them extensively in the last nine months, and in that time they have earned a shocking amount of repairs. Aside from the typical crotch repairs, he has also had both back pockets stitched up, as well as an outer leg seam repair required from an unfortunate accident after few too many drinks one night.

The fades look solid for their timeline, with whiskers aplenty and nice honeycombs forming as well. With as many as twelve washes so far, it’s no surprise that the contrast isn’t as crazy, but in this case it doesn’t diminish from the story these jeans are already starting to tell. Keep ’em going, Daniel!
