After a year of regular wear, these Red Wing 8111 Iron Ranger boots, owned by reader Chen Yue of China, have come a long way to being properly broken in. Oiled once in the past year, the leather really hasn’t changed much from the original color, despite a little indigo transfer from Chen’s selvedge denim, which we think looks pretty cool.
Known to be robust hard working boots, the Iron Ranger is a reliable choice, and this pair will no doubt see many more miles before needing to be replaced.
