Soulive Indigo Multicultural Railroad Jacket

Part of the Japan Blue family (along with older sibling Momotaro), the Japanese brand Soulive captures a world seen through an indigo lens. The Indigo Multicultural Railroad Jacket lives up to its name with its eclectic design elements.

Three front patch pockets – especially the chest pocket – feature unusual, eye catching silhouettes and seam lines, made all the more noticeable with white contrast stitching. The neckline, which one might normally expect to be collared, is a simple, deep V atop a four-button closure. The top button, channeling some silver coin vibes, contrasts with the lower three black buttons, and features a Native American profile.

Additional flair can be found on the cuffs, the contrast seams of which swoop up in to a point. The jacket’s swingy cut keeps the overall effect less design-y and more casual. The jacket itself is 100% cotton, produced by Japan Blue in Kojima, Okayama.
