Tender Co. is not a company that likes to play within any given set of rules when it comes to clothing design. Constant innovation and clever construction come to a head with their most recent pair o’ blues – the Walnut Dyed Passenger Pocket Selvedge jeans.
Wait, did you just say walnut-dyed jeans? Why yes, yes we did and we are not surprised that Tender be the ones to pull it off. They used a natural dye extract from black walnuts to achieve a uniquely rich tone on the 16oz. Japanese denim, which was then rinsed to alleviate shrinkage. These jeans feature vintage-style slant front pockets with two added “passenger” pockets, easy to access while sitting down. Copper rivets adorn all the major stress points, so you know they will be as hard-wearing as they are stylish, and they also have some added detailing like calico pocket lining and an inner waist coin pocket. These aren’t your every day blue jeans, but they could be.
