Grease Point Workwear have mastered their craft of skillfully built utilitarian pieces meant to be worn and worn hard. Their latest release, the Orchard Coat, fits that mold perfectly, offering the sturdiness of a chore coat in a distinguished 14.5oz. double indigo denim from Candiani Mills in Italy.
Equally balancing function and fashion, this jacket features reinforced elbow patches flowing straight down into a single button sleeve closure. The short-spread collar matches well with the double layered acorn chest pocket on the left breast for a touch of heritage inspiration without looking like a reproduction piece. An added selvedge chambray inner right breast pocket and two large waist pockets are all reinforced with hand-hammered copper YKK rivets, and the entire jacket is held together by hand-felled seams with tex 80 indigo thread produced in North Carolina.
Available for $320 at Grease Point Workwear.
