From the vamp  and the welt stitch to the laces and the eyelets, there’s a total of twelve features that are totally up to each individual buyer. While much of this is aesthetic preference, it bears noting that you can choose different soles, depending not only on your visual predilections but also the climate and topography of your boot stomping grounds.

The price tag for these custom features runs a bit higher than their off-the-rack offerings, and will set you back $400. Available at Wolverine.
