Alden x Need Supply Cary St. Whole Cut Balmoral Shoes

If I ever found myself invited to a formal banquet, one which immediately lead to a game of backyard football, I’d like to imagine wearing a pair of these shoes for the occasion. And only Alden and Need Supply could team up to form this unlikely mash up of dressy and kick-ass with their new Cary St. Whole Cut Balmoral Shoes.

With a body construction consisting of one main piece of material (typically fine leather), it’s no surprise that the whole cut shoe is widely considered one of the cleanest and classiest of all dress shoe styles. And if there’s a brand that knows class in the footwear department it’s Alden, which makes this release so much more interesting as it’s anything but classic.

The textured alpine grain leather upper gives the shoe a rugged look, which pairs perfectly with the unconventional commando sole. It also features black cordo round laces and Goodyear stitching with a black reverse all-around welt. Made on Alden’s Barrie last, it’s rugged, durable, yet still a dress shoe. Wear it however you choose.

Available for $580 at Need Supply.
