Buzz Rickson x William Gibson Down Jacket

With origins dating back to 2004, the long-standing collaborative efforts of Buzz Rickson and William Gibson continue to this day – the latest of which is aptly titled the Down Jacket. Simple yet full of intensely thought out detailing, this piece does not fall short of everything devoted workwear fans have come to love about Buzz Rickson.

The story that brought together a vintage military inspired boutique clothing brand and a novelist is most definitely an interesting one, and you can read more about that in an interview we did with Mr. Gibson back in 2015. Based off of patterns originally developed by the U.S. Army and built to withstand the coldest of temperatures for long periods of time, this jacket features a nylon shell and liner and is filled with 80% down and 20% feathers. It is lightweight and allows for full mobility, so whether you are stuck in the arctic tundra hanging from an ice cap or walking your dog in the dead of winter you can count on Buzz.
