If that last video we did with FDMTL had you salivating but at a loss for where to purchase their wares, Elhaus might be in your wheelhouse. Elhaus has combined the template of a vintage US Navy shawl-collared denim deck jacket and given it the Japanese treatment. Made with an olive sashiko fabric — normally seen on kendo gi uniforms in indigo — the jacket recalls centuries old Japanese tradition with boro patches that appear throughout.
Other details include three patch pockets, an interior chest pocket, felled seams and Elhaus branded copper buttons. Perhaps the best thing about this boro-emblazoned coverall is that they’ve left the patina up to you. No unnecessary distressing to be had.
Available for IDR840,000 (~$63) at Elhaus.
