Hear that? It’s the lion roar of Léon Denim, leaping out of the shadows and into today’s Fade of the Day. Heddels reader Richard Benjamin Sun of the Philippines sent us this pair of developing LD002xx jeans. Worn primarily as his shop jeans (he builds custom motorcycles in his spare time), they’ve been put to task on many occasion and have developed some handsome fade details in the process.

There’s only been one wash for these jeans so far and the dye is really holding strong. The fades are showing most in the usual places such as the lap and seat areas with some gentle pocket fades coming into play. Aside from those subtle details, the honeycombs and whiskers are developing nicely, too. No doubt there’s plenty of life left in these jeans and it would be great to see how the fades look in another year.
