Looking for a summer gig that will pay your bills and fade your jeans? Heddels reader Carl Dalton wore his Unbranded UB321s for eight months at his 50-hour-a-week pool service job, and earned a lot more than a gnarly sunburn, and a spot in today’s Fade of the Day.
Manual outdoor labor mixed with the occasional chlorine splash have faded these UBs in a big way. Bright white knees and pockets have popped through in the mix, from kneeling at poolsides carrying everything from pocket knives to Swedish snus. Carl admits he slipped with that knife out one time resulting in the right thigh hole, but he continued to wear his jeans until they didn’t fit right anymore. They’ve certainly developed into something special in less than a year.
