Today’s Fade of the Day comes to us from Zhafirry Fenner, a first-time raw denim wearer from Malaysia. Zhafirry was so attached to his Unbranded UB101 purchase that he decided to sleep in them when not ripping around town on his skateboard.

After four years and only three washes his fades are looking serious–there’s actually very little of the original dye left. The gradation down the length of the legs is stellar, with beautifully intense honeycombing, and contoured whiskers that together make for some of the best fades we’ve seen on Unbranded denim. So much contrast. And the blown out knee and pocket add to the dramatic look these UB101s are showing.

Who said budget denim can’t yield stellar fades?
