John Lofgren Burgundy Chromexcel Engineer Boots

Had Santa been sending these boots down your chimney, he might have taken them for himself instead. John Lofgren‘s latest pair brings his notorious engineer boots out in a striking color.

Made in a burgundy chromexcel from Chicago’s Horween tannery, these aren’t your usual engineer boots. As is typical for chromexcel, the leather is softer to start compared to others and will eventually lead to some pretty patina. A Goodyear storm welt paired with Vibram soles and heels means its fine in the rain and resolable, while a Japanese steel shank make for a supported and sure footing.

Available in a limited run for $945 at Self Edge.
