For those of us who do the whole ocean soak thing but hate going into the freezing water, Momotaro does the dirty work for you with their latest jacket. Momotaro baptizes their B2105SP Type II Jacket in the shores of Kurashiki City in Okayama, cleansing them of… extra dye and starch. At 15.7oz., this jacket ain’t no walk in the park or along the beach or whatever. But it’s also pretty manageable considering the (much) heavier options out there.
The sanforized Zimbabwe cotton denim is made doubly black with both the warp and weft inked up. And, so reporters on the red carpet know what you’re wearing on the night of the premier of Michael Bay’s next “masterpiece,” they’ve painted their telltale “Going to Battle” stripes at the left sleeve.
Other details include pink selvedge ID (classic Momo), black coated buttons, black chambray pocket lining, and deerskin leather patch.
Available for $265 at Okayama Denim.
