PBJ Offers More Room With The New XX-019 Denim

These days, it is practically unheard of for a denim brand to only produce skinny jeans. While there’s no denying that the fit is still plenty popular, jeans with a slightly looser fit, a higher rise, and roomier thigh currently own the majority “Best Fit” vote from dudes worldwide. Pure Blue Japan is one of those brands often associated with a skinnier jean, but their latest offering falls into that slightly less-fitting category. Introducing the new XX-019 Relaxed Tapered jeans.

Cut from the brand’s proprietary 13.8oz unsanforized Japanese nep selvedge denim, the XX-019 features a lengthier rise, wider thigh, and still plenty of taper below the knee. Judging by the photos, the fit is far from loose but should still prove to have some extra room up top where it’s needed most, and they feature a five button fly with original PBJ hardware, blue selvedge ID and a lambskin leather back patch. Production will be constant, but the denim itself is produced in small batches making it a truly limited release for PBJ.

Available for $230 at Okayama Denim.
