It’s no secret that heritage American-style athletic footwear has seen a huge resurgence in recent years, but one of the style’s founding fathers, PF Flyers, never stopped making shoes their way. Paying tribute to their long, rich line of footwear history is their new All American Hi Sneakers.
Constructed, as always, with comfort in mind, PF’s signature “Magic Wedge” insert is replaced with New Balance‘s Fresh Foam insoles, for modern cushioning and support in an old school package.
On the exterior, they chose the simple-is-best approach, with a sturdy and reinforced 12oz. duck canvas body and cotton laces. Double wrap foxing tape adds a touch of color, and to finish things off, they are branded with the company’s iconic iron-on ankle patch.
