Viberg Snuff Calf Suede Hiker Boot

Does this stub-toed boot look vaguely familiar? If Danner comes to mind, it’s because Viberg‘s founder, Edwin V, exchanged boot patterns with Danner’s Bill D back in the 1970s. The Hiker boot has been in steady production since then (see the Ebony Latigo iteration from March 2015) but the latest update is the material: full-grain, calf-butt British Suede in Snuff brown.

The upper is a continuous piece of leather, lending it natural waterproofing (though be mindful of how you want your suede to age). And the full leather lining as well as a 200g Thinsulate liner provide extra warmth and comfort no matter the elements. The Hiker is made on Viberg’s 240 last, with a Commando sole and construction.
