Another company we took note of at this year’s New York Market Week was Dr. Collector‘s. Looking at a sample from their collection, it was easy to see a strong love for indigo and boro fabrics – both of which were somehow included in every piece. Their latest Noragi Shirt fits into that mold perfectly, and throws some flannel into the mix too.

Of course, this isn’t just a normal flannel. The fabrics were overdyed indigo, resulting in a broad range of blue hues and stark differences from piece to piece. They feature custom sewn boro details down the front placket, wrapping up and around the collar for less of a woodsman and more of a vintage shawl-inspired vibe.
