Fade Friday – Eugene & Co. Eugs-511 (2 Years, Unknown Washes, 1 Soak)

There’s plenty of reasons to love Friday, so why not add some insanely faded jeans to that list? This week’s Fade Friday features a pair of Eugene & Co. Eugs-511s worn for two years and three months by Heddels reader Barep Anuraga of the modern-day fade capital of the world, Indonesia.

It’s not entirely clear what Barep did to achieve such awesome wear patterns on his jeans, and maybe it’s best left a secret when the results are this good. With one soak and an unknown number of washes, he has managed to retain a ton of indigo in the not-so-exposed areas making for some exceptional contrast against the near-white thighs, whiskers, and honeycombs going on here. One small cuff has made for some nice stacking marks, and the exposed selvedge seam is showing matching signs of wear as well. The knees have been repaired multiple times, but that doesn’t seem to be stopping Barep from his rigorous wear pattern.
