Fade Friday is upon us, and we have another pair of jeans from, you guessed it, Indonesia! We’ve seen some truly awesome stuff from Sage recently and this pair of Marcher 22 oz. doesn’t disappoint. Proud owner Irfan Sutarsa has only worn these jeans for 10 months, and with nothing more than everyday wear whilst studying at senior high school, he’s earned epic fades that would get top marks from any denimhead.
Three washes and two soaks have helped the dark indigo denim develop into a rich blue, with fades and creases punching through nicely. Up top, we’ve got some solid whiskers reaching down to the knee, where they’re met by those gnarly wrap-around honeycombs. And below that, there is some killer stack fades, while Sage’s signature mountain arcuates can also be seen on the back pockets in fade form. What more could you want?
No repairs have been needed yet, so these Sages have plenty of time to fade even more and become another stellar addition to the Southeast Asian fade archives.
