Fade Friday – Sage Wolfberg (1 Year, 2 Washes)
More Indonesian-made denim reigns supreme this week, and it comes as no surprise that they are another pair of heavyweight Sage jeans. This pair of Sage Wolfbergs have been worn for by Najmi Fauzi, of Indonesia, and now, they’re absolute grails deserving of a spot in this week’s Fade Friday.
Weighing in at 21 oz., we’re seeing some quality heavy-denim fades here, with high-contrast creasing throughout and plenty of texture to boot. The white thighs are covered in whiskers that spread back to the seat, where you can see those killer stealth arcs. And if that wasn’t enough, we have honeycombs that tick all the boxes: crispy, defined, and aplenty.
There’s no doubt Najmi has worn these Sages hard, but with only a small repair needed to the blown-out knee, they certainly have life left in them. After all, a year of wear is nothing in the world of raw denim.
You can fine Najmi on Instagram.
