Newcomer Nine Lives came onto the scene less than a year ago and has made quite the impression on the industry. From dusters to yak leather jackets, it’s been showstopper after showstopper. A little bit softer now (a little bit softer now), their recently-released five pocket jean isn’t looking to reinvent the wheel.
The fabric is a very mid-weight 13.5oz. denim and is made with Zimbabwe cotton that’s then woven in Okayama. Rear pockets are lined with chambray for durability. The coin pocket is placed asymmetrically below the hip and cut very carefully at a not-quite-right angle to lay comfortably while you sit. Now your Mini Altoids cans won’t dig into your body.
Available both in indigo as well fade-to-grey black for $290 at Nine Lives.
