Blue Blue Japan White Sashiko Stitched Coverall Jacket

The blue boys over at Blue Blue Japan are no strangers to sashiko stitching, and they’ve taken the painstaking craft to the logical extreme in their most recent release, the White Sashiko Stitched Coverall Jacket.

With a bold indigo blue poplin fabric as the base, the even bolder sashiko stitching creates a plaid effect with a kakuju-tsunagi pattern where the stitches (sort of) intersect. Look closely and you’ll notice that the pattern even lines up nicely from the shoulders and across the pointed collar. Four patch pockets and indigo-dyed buttons make up the rest of the features here, because who needs more that?

Available at Understudy Shop for $585 CAD (~$436USD).
