Chimala 10oz. Denim Railroad Jacket

Traditionally flying somewhat under the radar, Chimala is known for their heritage aesthetic, incorporating styles from the 30s through the 70s into their Japanese-crafted garments. If your style is less military and more Transcontinental Railroad, their Denim Railroad Jacket is up your alley — or tracks, as it were.

Based off of vintage railroad jackets, it’s made with a rinsed 10oz. double indigo Japanese denim (think high contrast fades). Stand collar, raglan sleeves, and wood buttons make up the gist of the jacket. And, when your chore coat woes are such that three pockets are not enough but four is too much, this ones’ got three and a half. Well, it’s actually got four, but one of them is small (for all you old fogies with pocket watches).

Available at Unionmade for $437.
