Sometimes you just can’t beat the classics, and that’s exactly what we’ve got in store for our featured Fade of the Day. This pair of Levi’s 501 Shrink-To-Fits have been worn by Art from the ol’ US of A for the last year with only one wash, and are starting to show the sort of character that their denim ancestors’ have made so well-known.

Not to be confused with the everyman’s mass-produced 501 STF, this pair was actually made in the USA and, other than adding a commemorative patch to the backside, Art has earned the rest of the character on these jeans himself through hard daily wear. In a year’s time he’s rocking some solid whiskers and fading throughout the thighs that will surely continue to brighten, while retaining a lot of indigo with his minimal wash routine. The honeycombs are starting to lock in nicely, and they look to be in pretty good shape so far. Here’s to hoping we see some more updates down the line on this great start.
