Fade of the Day – Samurai Jeans S710XX (2 Years, 7 Washes)

Samurai Jeans are here again to slice the head off the fade game. This time we have a pair of S710XX that come to us from Liem Hu Sen of Indonesia, who tells us two years of weekend wear has led to these gnarly fades that make the cut for this edition of Fade Of The Day.

Liem didn’t tell us his exactly what he gets up to in his jeans, but the level of dye loss we’re seeing here is something that only comes with hard wear. The thrashed denim is now almost white, but some remnants of darker indigo tones can be seen between the creases of those killer honeycombs and whiskers.  The cherry on top is how the indigo-dyed arcs have become more visible as the back pockets have faded.

Miraculously, these Samurais haven’t needed any repairs yet, but Liem says the crotch is ready to blow out. With barely any dye left to work on, maybe it’s time for these jeans to be sent to the Hall Of Fade.
