Weekend warriors, you too have hope to get some fades. Today’s Fade of the Day was sent over to us by denim head Hakim Alias of Malaysia, who wore these Naked & Famous Okayama Spirit 2s darn near every weekend for the last twelve months as his workplace adheres to a strict ‘no denim’ policy. The results are impressive, especially considering the lost wear time, and they are even on their way to seeing their first repair.
This super slubby, indigo warp/weft denim is proving to fade beautifully over time with a ton of texture and contrast. Hakim is seeing some nice whiskers starting to form up front, and plenty of seat and pocket fading leading down to crisp honeycombs behind the knees.
