Though you might’ve thought Monitaly was based in Italy, their roots are actually grounded in Southern California rather than under the Tuscan sun. Yes, a Frances Mayes reference. Their most recent lookbook features SoCal as its backdrop with a military color palette of olive and navy. For good measure, there are some colorful jacquard knits and weed-leaf printed jackets, too.
Relaxed and drape-y silhouettes comprise their comfy collection. Their proprietary weather-resistant Vancloth fabric is a prominent feature throughout the lookbook and is cut into design after design. You’ll see it in their mock neck popover shirts, pleated wide leg pants, and even an M-65-like jacket with oversized pockets.
