If you thought stretch-able denim in 2017 was strictly sanctioned to department stores at your local mall, think again. Naked & Famous is back with another addition to their always interesting releases — the Mint Slub Stretch 12.5oz. Selvedge Denim Jeans.
If you’ve made it this far, you probably have an open mind about stretch denim and, if that’s the case, keep reading. While this 12.5oz. denim is comprised of 98% cotton and 2% elastane, it still maintains a surprising amount of slubbiness in the texture. Think of it as a slightly more nimble pair of Weird Guys and you won’t be far off.
Clearly, N&F aren’t ones to sit idly by and use run-of-the-mill materials in their releases. No, they spice it up nearly every time and, in this case, that spice — or rather herb — is mint. That means you can ring in the spring with some light green cuffs from this indigo warp, mint weft denim. Other features include signature hardware, a thick leather patch, and a button fly closure.
