ts(s)’s CPO Shirt Jacket Blends Hemp with Cotton (Also It’s Waterproof)

I’ve never known just how to pronounce ts(s). The Japanese brand is an eponym of its founder Takuji Suzuki, but that hasn’t stopped me from saying it in my head like the sound of a threatening snake or a delicately brushed hi-hat. Regardless, tea-kettle-right-before-it-whistles makes some fine clothes, like this play on a classic CPO (chief petty officer) jacket.

Warming-up-radiator has made a CPO in this silhouette for several seasons now, all of which have those hip level hand pockets. This iteration is in a lightweight brown hemp/cotton blend that’s woven tightly enough to be waterproof — especially helpful for those upcoming April showers. As per the rest of deflating-bike-tire’s collection, it’s made in Japan.

Available for $385 at No Man Walks Alone.
