When you wear your jeans long enough, they become one with the earth. At least that’s the case with this week’s Fade Friday, featuring one pair of down and dirty Unbranded UB-221s sent over to us by Ridwan Pradana, of Indonesia.
Clocking in at a whopping total of three years and three months of wear, Ridwan tells us that he simply wore them everyday until they “died”. Having made no repairs to date, these UBs are plenty trashed and beaten, with two blown open knees and a smattering of holes around the front and back pockets. In terms of fading, the photos speak for themselves. Years of wear and three sea washes have turned these blue jeans beige, but they still show plenty of character with the pops of blue behind the knees and in the whiskering throughout the waistline.
