Fade of the Day – Rogue Territory Stanton (15 Months, 1 Wash)

Fades are cool enough as they are, but the incentive of winning a fade competition is just another reason to batter your jeans. This pair of Rogue Territory Stantons were worn by Bert Van Orden, from The Netherlands, for the Rogue Territory x Cultizm fade contest hosted by Reddit. And these solid fades have not only earned Bert first place in the competition, but also an appearance on today’s Fade Of The Day also.

To achieve his fades, Bert wore these jeans almost every day, and only washed them once over 15 months. Keeping them so dry and rigid has led to multiple crotch blowouts, but also a well-sculpted wear pattern. The whiskers are clear cut and span right around to the back pockets, and the honeycombs are probably what won Bert the Reddit bragging rights—stacked, defined and housing darker indigo dye between each crease.

You can see more shots of Bert’s denim on Instagram.
