Many people try to limit the amount of sugar in their life, but ’round here we’re suckers for some raw Sugar Cane. Rob, from the U.S.A., has been wearing this pair of Sugar Cane SC2009 for over half a decade, resulting in something sweet for this edition of Fade Of The Day.

Rob has lost count of how many times he’s washed these jeans over the years, so the fabric is light and washed out, giving off that vintage feel. The lap and thighs have faded to white, and both knees were worn down so much they’ve busted through and needed reinforcing. The honeycombs and whiskers are pretty faint, but it’s the low-key hallmarks—like the train track fades and hem roping — that makes these ‘Canes special.
