Soulive’s Grand Haori Jacket Strips Down a P41 Jacket Into a Kimono

If you wanted a vintage USMC P41 jacket, but weren’t planning on buttoning it up and also didn’t want it to have a collar, then Soulive’s Grand Haori Jacket is what you’d be looking for. The garment is made with a cotton olive drab herringbone twill fabric and is cut with three patch pockets just like the vintage military ones from the 40s. But in true lounge-y boy style, Soulive has forgone the button placket and collar for a kimono aesthetic. The mutual love affair between America and Japan continues.

Made in Japan, available at Independence for $310.
