Atelier & Repairs’ Unique Up-Cycled Chambray Shirts are Made Using Vintage Fabrics

Paper, cans, bottles, plastic–recycle them all, it’s fantastic! Atelier & Repairs is ready to add American and Japanese indigo fabrics to that list, and although it sort of ruins the rhythm of the jingle, it’s worth it. Especially  considering what they can produce with old, leftover materials, a skill highlighted by their latest line of Up-Cycled Chambray Shirts.

When it comes to the variety of this line, the term “one-of-a-kind” hardly does it justice. A&R uses a mix of both old and new leftover fabrics and materials to create these unique button down chambrays, each telling its own story. You’ll see the occasional burst of color or pattern in the chest pocket or collar detailing, and some shirts still have the original prints on them. If you’re wondering how you can choose exactly which one you want, Blue in Green suggests you drop them a line so they can help get you sorted out and on the path to recycled righteousness.

Available for $225 at Blue in Green.
