Digging back into his personal denim archive, Heddels reader Trevor Mccurry pulled out a long-retired pair of jeans that have made todays’ Fade of the Day. This pair of RRL Slim Fit jeans have some nice fades earned back in yesteryear. To give you a better idea of the timeframe in which these jeans were worn, those are flip-phone fades on that back left pocket.
Trevor says he guesses he wore them for about two years straight, spent mostly working and riding his motorcycle, creating a nice dirty brown cast all over. It also earned him plenty of battle scars, including a previously repaired crotch that is a few wears off of blowing out for good, and some other small holes around the legs. Even though they haven’t been worn since the invention of smartphones, it’s cool that they weren’t thrown in the trash so we can still appreciate them today.
