Fade of the Day – A.P.C. Petit Standard (1 Years, 2 Washes, 1 Soak)
Although today’s featured fades were technically earned by a dad, they’re anything but your stereotypical “dad jeans.” Kash Meherali of London wore this pair of A.P.C. Petit Standards nearly every day for the last year, and has plenty of heavy indigo loss to show for it, making it our Fade of the Day.
Kash works a desk job, so though he wears his jeans to work every day, they don’t see too much abuse from 9 to 5. You know what they say though, home is where you fade it, and that is where he has earned most of the character we are seeing here. Tightly formed whiskers in the front and wallet fades in the back are met with textbook honeycombs and knee fades, which Kash says were probably formed rolling around and playing with his three-year-old kid.
Who knows, maybe dad fades are the next big thing!
