When it comes to “period plausible,” no one does it quite like Mister Freedom. No doubt you have seen more than your fair share of chore coat offerings on the menswear market today, but there’s just something (well, actually a lot of things) that set the new Conductor Jacket apart from the pack.
So many details, but where to begin? Well, for one, this 13oz. indigo-dyed denim twill coat hits hard right out of the gate with four MF original pocket shape designs. They pair these with a pocket watch-compatible compartment on the left chest, so you can keep the time while keeping the timepiece safe.
Combining old motifs with new ideas, each pocket is at least partially lined with a deadstock woven stripe cotton poplin, and the two side cinch straps come complete with new old stock French metal buckles. So many tasty vintage details, yet it also comes with an iPhone ready inner chest pocket because after all, it is 2017.
