Hairier Than Ever, Burgus Plus’ Lot 850 Denim Gets a Texture Upgrade

Burgus Plus was founded as the house brand of legendary Japanese denim store, Hinoya, way back in 1997, and they’ve been producing high quality Japanese-made goods ever since—even collaborating with brands such as Naked & Famous, and Oni along the way. This time, they’re renewing their staple fabric for 2017 with even more to texture to love.

The updated Lot 850 denim gives off a red cast and is neppier than previous iterations. It’s also plenty hairy to start. It comes once washed to avoid shrinkage, and weighs in at 16oz., allowing these jeans to sit comfortably in the mid-weight category. Team this fabric with a slim-fit, and you’re destined for some killer honeycombs and whiskers. The pocket bags are made from tough, olive herringbone twill, and are secured to the jean with copper rivets, while the back pockets feature hidden rivets, and a stitched-in red Sakura blossom motif. To top it all off, you’ve got a branded goatskin leather waist patch, custom Burgus Plus hardware, and pink selvedge I.D.

Available for $178 from Okayama Denim.
