The Devil makes work for idle legs, and this pair of Iron Heart IH-666s found themselves on the legs of James White, from New York. Dubbed “The Devil’s Fit”, these Iron Hearts are constructed from 18 oz. raw selvedge denim in a slim fit—a combination destined for stern fades.
James has been wearing these jeans for one year now, and after daily wear of 12+ hours, one cold soak and three machine washes, they’re showing some serious wear. The denim has retained much of its indigo dye, leaving the fades to form in high contrast. Strong whiskering has formed on the lap and inner thighs, and the solid stacking makes sure the fades don’t stop at the knee. But the star of the show is those devilish honeycombs that are crispy as hell, and just starting to shred between the creases.
These Iron Hearts have already needed two repairs, and the front pockets are showing some pretty gnarly fraying, but this only adds to the rugged look of these beasts.
