Love ’em or hate ’em, there’s no denying that J. Crew have put out some appealing denim releases. Today’s Fade of the Day is one of them—a pair of three-year-and-two-month-old 484s, worn by Morgan Hubbard of Rhode Island, USA.
This pair of jeans is cut from a handsome Japanese selvedge denim that ages wonderfully over time, as we can clearly see here. Morgan put a lot of time into these babies and he’s earned some some gnarly all-around fades in the process, including picture-perfect whiskers and pocket fades both front and back. To be more specific, he generally carries a wallet, a pocket knife, and some Burt’s Bees…but can you figure out which one goes where?
