Indigofera’s Hickory Stripe Swearengen Pant is Full of Old West Details

Indigofera is normally a purveyor of styles from the 50s through the 70s, but for the Hickory Stripe Swearengen Pant, they went back an extra hundred years to the 1870s, channeling the well dressed bad guy Al Swearengen — previously immortalized in the early 2000s TV show named after the town where he ruled the roost in impeccable pinstripes, Deadwood.

The pants retain a very Old West feel with curved rear pockets, western hip pockets, and a rugged 12oz. 3×1 twill. Updates to that Old West angle include a slim-straight fit and a special grey/black hickory stripe fabric made by Nihon Menpu exclusively for Indigofera. You don’t need to be Al Searengen to figure out that this trouser plays best with boots. Gittyup.
