Back in the 1960s, a new type of type of British “holiday” was born that involved going out and doing good for Mother Earth. It spawned various groups of nature-lovers, but one of the most notable were the Earthshine Eco Tours that helped clean the beaches of South East England. Apparently, they did so in style because STORY Mfg. decided to name their upcoming lookbook after them.
The Earthshine Spring/Summer ’18 line features a mishmash of patterns, flowy layers, and plenty of indigo. From comfy looking bowling shirts to anti-fit wide-legged denim trousers, this line is certainly eclectic, and still, everything is done with its own unique spin. You will find vintage inspired quilt patterns paired with all-over print shorts that scream “solar power,” and though it may not be for everyone, there’s no denying the positive impact made by the movement from which it was inspired.
