The only thing better than wearing jeans for fun is wearing them to win. Studio D’artisan and Denimio have teamed up again to release their latest contest model jeans–the DM-002—and they’re ready to be rocked.
Weighing in at a comfy, middle-of-the-road 15oz., this rough, unsanforized American/Australian blend cotton denim is sure to please the hearts and minds of many a denimhead alike, especially after a soak and some break in time. This is the same denim Studio uses on their popular SD-107, that quickly made a name for itself with its impressive evolution capabilities. Being a contest jean, you can bet your buttons that this denim is something special, and it should yield some amazing fades.
The DM-002 features an added crotch rivet for durability’s sake, a sashiko coin pocket, camo fabric half-lined back pockets, and hand written serial numbers. The fit was determined after receiving countless emails from customers requesting a jean with a heavy taper and medium-low rise, and that’s exactly what they did. They also worked hard to keep this limited edition release at a reasonable price point, because when it comes to denim contest entries you can never really have to many. I can almost see the honeycombs already.
Available to pre-order for $228 at Denimio.
