Heavy jeans plus heavy wear equals heavy fades! Heddels reader CJ Atkinson wore these Iron Heart SExIH22-301s for the last two and a half years, and finally deemed them ready to share with the world. Good thing too, because they’re worthy of being this week’s Fade Friday.
After an initial hot soak, CJ wore these bad boys for the first ten months with no other encounters with water to help kickstart the fading process. Since that mark, he’s washed them every three to six months as needed, and they’re certainly showing their age. Crazy knee fades up front are matched with equally massive honeycombs behind, that lead down to some noteworthy stacks near the ankles.
These jeans really took on the look of a “second skin,” showing every bit of wear they’ve seen thus far, and have needed some repairs along the way including one crotch repair. Up next are the pocket bags, which aren’t holding much right now, but that’s the price to pay for such radical jeans.
