Fade of the Day – Sage Ironhorn (1 Year, 3 Washes, 1 Soak)

Sage is back with a vengeance for this edition of Fade of the Day, with more of the heavyweight fades that we’ve come to love from the brand. This particular pair comes to us courtesy of Irfan Dewantara, from Sage’s homeland of Indonesia. If you read our daily fade features regularly, you’ll know that the fade clock ticks much faster in the humid climes of Indonesia, and Irfan has managed to carve out these gnarly fades in just one year!

Irfan tells us these jeans have seen daily wear of up to eight hours a day, which includes regular motorcycle riding. The lap has lost a lot of indigo dye, revealing the slubby, grainy texture of the denim, and stark whiskers have formed nicely in the crotch and down the inner-thighs. The knees have pretty much faded-white, and behind them is a set of shredded, wide-spread honeycombs that would have any denim head green with envy.

You can keep up with Irfan on Instagram.
