The SJAP17-SK is Samurai’s new take on the classic military trouser. So new, in fact, that there’s hardly any info available about the pair — even on Samurai’s own website. Is this the garment equivalent to those hip bars hidden behind vending machines? Some serious effort was put into making these come to be……but oh are they so very hard to track down.
What details there are seem to be pretty enticing for the fans of the denim-and-indigo bloc of the menswear world. For one, the rope-dyed sashiko fabric is more substantial than other sashiko pants we’ve seen of late, which should translate to some seriously intriguing fades after they’ve broken in. The once-washed pair also has corozo nut buttons and one rear pocket moved to the side leg. You know, just because.
